Friday 5:30 p.m.

  Arrival in Epernay and check-in at La Poterne

Put down your suitcases in your cozy room and enjoy a platter of cold cuts / cheese as an aperitif accompanied by a bottle of Champagne from our Estate for a perfect start. To be enjoyed in the garden on sunny days!

 

Friday 8 p.m.

Dine in one of the many restaurants located within a 5-minute walk of our guest rooms

(must be booked in advance of your stay)

- Table Kobus for its bistronomic cuisine in a 1900 brasserie setting

- Sacré Bistro for its magnificent wine list and comforting dishes in a young and relaxed atmosphere

- Cook-in for its creative Franco-Thai cuisine in a warm atmosphere

 

Saturday 9am

Generous breakfast at La Poterne with a maximum of homemade products to start the day off right

 

Saturday 10:30 a.m.

Visit to Hautvillers, birthplace of Champagne and village of the famous monk Dom Pérignon

- Stroll through the alleys of this traditional Champagne village and enjoy the magnificent view of the vineyard, don't forget to stop at one of the village's winegrowers for a tasting!

Lunch in a champagne bar to discover the Champagne countryside

- At 36.... in Hautvillers (5km from Epernay) - Marne Valley

- La Frigousse in Ay (5km from Epernay) - Marne Valley

- The Recommended in Avize (10km from Epernay) - Côte des Blancs

- Mousse shot at Rilly La Montagne (17km from Epernay) - Montagne de Reims

 

Saturday 3 p.m.

Depending on the weather and your aspirations, several possibilities are available to you:

- To learn more about vines and Champagne, head to Pressoria in Ay, this 2000m2 venue offers an immersive and interactive visit that will appeal to your 5 senses.

- For a breathtaking view of the vineyard, in the heart of the Montagne de Reims regional natural park, go to Verzenay Lighthouse , climb the 101 steps that lead you to a belvedere located 25 meters high and contemplate an exceptional 360° panorama. A stone's throw from the lighthouse, treat yourself to a family walk in the heart of nature in the Verzy forest , ideal in summer because you are in the shade and magnificent in autumn for its flamboyant colors!

- For a nice bike ride, take the Green Way (V52) along the Marne Canal, enjoy a breathtaking view of the Champagne hillsides listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites, flirting with the Montagne de Reims natural park, connecting places full of history, retracing the steps of pilgrims and revealing vestiges of chalk mining. Treat yourself to a break in one of the many picnic areas.

Take your car to discover an exceptional table for a gourmet dinner

- Le Château de Sacy : Located on the first floor of the Château, the restaurant offers elegant and authentic local cuisine in a sumptuous setting. Enjoy its terrace with a breathtaking view of the vineyard on sunny days.

- The Royal Champagne : offers two exceptional restaurants: Le Royal, which has been awarded a star in the Michelin Guide, and the charming bistro restaurant, Le Bellevue.

- La Briqueterie : In a warm atmosphere, bathed in light, the gourmet restaurant strives to magnify the delights of French cuisine. Its pretty terrace with a view of the landscaped garden is very pleasant in summer.

- Les Avisés : A unique menu, changing every day, made with fresh, local and seasonal products in a neat and warm setting, a bit like at home.
In fine weather, you will have the choice of being served on the terrace.
